Beautiful Lobuche Peak dominates the south-western side of upper Khumbu valley stands above the small village set for trekkers and climbers called Lobuche. The Lobuje Peak consists of two different summits, viz. East and West with heights of 6,119 mtr (20070ft) and 6,145mtr (20156ft) respectively. A continuous long ridge connects both of them but there is still difficult route and considerable distance between the two. Lobuje peak particularly Lobuche East is becoming more popular recently as Island Peak another beautiful peak in the Khumbu region is getting too crowded. The itinerary given here is for Lobuche East Peak climbing as this is the easy one for beginner to medium level climbers. However, we can arrange the Lobuche West climbing if we find anyone interested. Our wisely set itinerary also includes famous Everest base camp and trekking over Cho La pass.
