This is one of the marvelous treks in the central Himalaya that starts near Kathmandu Valley and heads North towards the holy lake of Gosainkunda (4380m) before dropping down to the beautiful Langtang Valley. It’s a package of traditional Buddhist – Hindu culture, amazing panoramic views and excellent trekking. The glaciated lake of Gosainkund is considered holy by Hindus, Shamanistic followers and local Buddhists. Panoramic views of Langtang, Ganesh and Annapurna range can be viewed from the lake area. The trek concludes at Syabrubesi to catch the bus to Kathmandu.
