Island Peak at the height of 6160 meters is also known as Imja-Tse peak. The peak was named so as it’s surrounded by many other peaks and Island soars in the middle like a beautiful island. Island Peak is one of the most popular climbing peaks in the Himalaya. It offers relatively easy climbing of one day from its advance base returning base camp from the summit. This is suitable for beginner or fresh climbers or those who are looking a warm up place for bigger climbing like Everest or Amadablam. Island peak as it is situated in the lap of renowned Everest region is combined with Everest base camp trek or Everest high pass trekking. Three Jewels Adventures has arranged several successful climbs in this peak.
