
Tsedang (Zedang) Valley: The Cradle of Tibetan Civilization
Tsedang valley, situated not far from Lhasa, is where Tibet's civilization started in ancient times. This valley comprises many firsts of Tibet like the first capital, first palace, including the first Buddhist Monastery of Samya (7th century) from where Buddhism was spread and had become integral element of Tibetan culture. Apart from this you will encounter overwhelming capital of Lhasa and drive from there to Kathmandu visiting historic and holy places like Yamdruk Tso, Gyatse and Sigatse along the friendship highway to Nepal.
