Dhaulagiri

Trekking Around Dhaulagiri

Dhaulagiri translates to "big peak" in Nepali or Sanskrit.  It was presumed to be the world's highest mountain before Mt. Everest was surveyed.  It takes a little over two weeks to circumambulate this giant peak along with its neighbors.  The trip is spectacular and challenging.  Only hikers very experienced with high altitude should take part in this journey.  Three Jewels Adventure hosts this trek with an experienced team and professional logistic support.  We include plenty of rest days in our itinerary, to make sure we all enjoy this tough Himalayan journey.
