Manaslu Round Trekking
Mt. Manaslu is one of the fourteen 8,000+meter peaks in the world. It dominates the Manaslu range bordering the Ganesh Himal range on the east and Annapurna to the west. Since the border with Tibet is a strategic location, treks must be fully organized. The area is relatively untouched by tourism. Our journey starts from a small village near the historic Gorkha (Gurkha) Kingdom. We pass through lush hills and canyons dotted with enchanting villages on our way to Larkey La (5135 mtr) one of the beautiful passes of the Himalaya. We drop down from Larkey La to Marshyangdi valley, part of the Annapurna circuit and to the road which leads us back to Kathmandu.
