Langtang Valley and  Tamang Heritage Trail

The stunning Trekking area of Langtang has widened its trekking zone as in 2005  its western part connected to Tibet has been opened for trekking activities.  This area is the home of Tibeto Burman origin Tamang people thus it got the name as Tamang heritage trail.  The trek starts from the road head at Gatlang village and heads north towards Tibetan border through many Tamang villages and superb view points.  From the point where one can see Tibet border trail heads south eastern side culminating the popular Langtang valley trail and it goes to Kyanjin gompa surrounded by snowy peaks of Langtang range. We then head back to Syabru besi before catching the ride back to Kathmandu.
