Mt Thamserku above Namche Bazaar

Glimpse of Everest – Namche Bazar and Tengboche

Popularly known as Everest Panorama, this is the best short trek in the enchanting area of Everest.  This 12 day trip follows the excellent trekking trail of the lower Everest region leading through large Sherpa villages like Mondzo at the entrance of Sagarmatha National Park, Namche Bazaar the gateway to the top of the world and Khumjung, the largest village of the region. These villages are both wonderful view points from which to see sky soaring Himalayan peaks and spiritual centers where you can observe the Buddhism-guided life and culture of local Sherpa people.  The famous Tyangboche monastery situated at 4200mtr (13776ft) is the final destination of this trek.  Tyangboche is the largest and most important monastery in the area and is also an excellent viewing point for Everest, Lhotse, Amadablam, Thamserku, Kang Tega, Khumbi Yullha and other peaks.
